Did you watch The Oscars last night? I didn’t. I was too busy working on my biz and spending time with family. Plus, too much glitz and glam makes my head hurt. BUT. I wanted to bring up The Oscars today to show you what’s possible when you really show up and OWN IT. Winning an Oscar translates to making big money, so of course, as an actor or actress, you WANT to win one. The men and woman who won Oscars last night didn’t win them because of luck. They won them because they worked their asses off. They showed up, did the work and they fucking owned it. And now they get to add “Academy Award Winner” next to their name and in turn, make even more money. Now, as an online business owner, you’re likely not going to have “Academy Award Winner” next to your name, but you CAN earn big money, just like those who have won Oscars will be. The only thing you have to do, is show up and do the work, even when things get hard. I work with so many amazing women and I see many of them give up when things start to get a bit hard. When there is a bump in the road. An obstacle. When that happens, they freeze up and they often quit. And there’s nothing sadder than a crazy talented woman giving up on her dreams just because shit got hard temporarily. Remember: there will always be challenges that you have to face in your business and in your life. Those that succeed are the...

I want to talk to you about Facebook Groups today. As I’m sure you know, Facebook Groups are currently one of the BEST ways to find paying clients online. However, this is only true if you use Facebook Groups the RIGHT WAY. Enter - Facebook Group Mistakes. If you’re making these mistakes, I’m going to tell you how to NOT make them, and what you should be doing instead. Because these mistakes? They REPEL clients. And you don’t want that. Mistake #1 - Promoting Yourself on Someone Else’s Post Let me explain: Someone posts something in a group, giving value to their ideal client, and you introduce yourself in the comments saying something along the lines of “This is exactly what I teach my clients. If anyone has any questions, send me a PM.” Annoying. Those value posts that people are putting out there are to show people that they’re an expert. So if you go in there and say “Hey, I can also help people with this!”, you look desperate. If you want to help people, do it in YOUR OWN POST. Also, if someone asks a question on another person’s post and you know the answer to it, refrain from answering. It’s not your post. It’s someone ELSE’S post, who is trying to position themselves as an expert, and they can’t do that if you hijack their post and answer the question before they can get to it. #2 - Sending a Private Message and Pitching Let me say something loud and clear: THIS DOES NOT WORK. People don’t buy things from those they don’t know, like...

Without incredible visibility, it’s going to be really difficult for you to find paying clients. Yes, you can get clients from word of mouth. From referrals. From friends of friends. But that type of marketing doesn’t last forever and is something you’d be crazy to rely on. How visible you are is up to YOU. It’s your job to make sure you’re seen in front of your people. And like I said, without incredible visibility, it’s going to be really difficult for you to find paying clients (you DO want paying clients, right?). This visibility plan has made me hundreds of thousands of dollars in the last year. It’s the #1 reason I was able to grow my business so quickly. Take it, tweak it, and use it for world domination. DAILY: Post in 3 Facebook groups (2 value posts, 1 promotion post) Post to Instagram 3-5 times (quotes, lifestyle & value posts) Update my Facebook page once (I’ve been slacking on this lately, I admit!) Post to Twitter 5+ times (I’ve also been slacking on this, whoops!) WEEKLY: Email list 2 times (2 value or 1 value + 1 pitch) *3 times per week during a launch Blog post once Write Facebook Group posts for the week Write one guest post Host 1 webinar/teleclass bi-weekly (I did this in the beginning when I was a new coach) That’s it. I’m not a big believer of having to be EVERYWHERE and doing EVERYTHING. I don’t think that’s necessary. These things were the only things I focused on and they enabled me to book myself full of 1:1 clients, sell...

Since manifesting is such a hot topic lately, I want to share with you one of my favorite manifesting stories – how I manifested $6,954 in just 3 days. Back in July of last year, my husband and I were planning a trip to Banff, Alberta and one of the things I said I wanted was to rent an Escalade to drive around in (I’m not a car person, but I have a thing for huge SUVs). Except huge SUVs were $850 for the 3 days we would use one, when a regular car was around $200, so my husband quickly vetoed that idea. But I was adamant, so I told him it needed to happen. Reluctantly he says “okay fine, if you can make… $4,000 in 3 days (thinking this will be hard for me), we’ll rent one”. By the afternoon of day 3 I was sitting at $6,954. How? Because I wanted that SUV. I knew it was mine. I could see myself driving it. I felt what it would feel like to be sitting inside, driving around gorgeous Banff. Of course, I also hustled my ass off. I did lots of follow up and outreach and promoted my current programs and offerings until I hit my goal (and then some). I made it happen. We didn’t get an Escalade because the rental company was all out of SUVs, but I did end up with this sexy beast of a truck and although it was a bitch to park, I loved every second of being in that thing. ...

When I was 18, I got involved in the adult industry. I started out as a “cam girl”, using my webcam and scantily clad photos and videos of myself to make a few bucks. Those few bucks turned into tens of thousands of dollars – and fast. Eventually, I became what was called a “solo girl”, which meant I had my own website that was updated a few times a week with new content (photos, videos, and live “shows”) and you would get access to it all for a monthly fee. This is one of the best jobs I ever had for many reasons: I loved knowing that how much money I made was up to ME and no one else I loved being able to work from my house without having to get up early to do it I loved the confidence boost I got from receiving compliments from people I loved that I learned so much about business and how to market myself online I loved the friendships I built and the adventures I had Although I loved this job, many people in my life did not. My parents never talked about it, pretending they had no idea that what I did for money was take my clothes off. One of my aunts refused to talk to me (she still avoids me at holiday get-togethers). My brother used to be teased at work by his colleges that found out his sister was a “porn star”. When I was finished with this industry and started my old couponing blog years ago, one of my competitors posted my old...
