Think about a cloudy, overcast, cold & wet day. Think about how GREY it is. Think about how DEPRESSING it is. That’s what your life will be like if you allow the toxins in your life to stay there – The toxic people The toxic thoughts The toxic experiences The toxic activities It must be eliminated from your life. All of it! These toxins are guaranteed to slow you down, hold you back, and thwart any progress you’ve made thus far. They will continue to be tapping you on the shoulder, trying to get you to throw in the towel and just give up already. I guarantee there are some toxins in your life right now. And you know this, too. There are some toxic people you haven’t pushed away because you’d feel guilty if you did. People who don’t support you fully, who question everything you say or do, who try to get you to follow their rules instead of your own. This is the definition of a toxic person and they need to go, which yes, can be really hard for you to do, especially if this person is a family member! I know women who have divorced their husbands because that person was a toxic influence. I know others who don’t speak to their parents anymore because they weren’t supportive. And I’m grateful that I do have a supportive husband and supportive family, but I know without a doubt in my mind that if they WEREN’T supportive, and they became toxins in my life, they’d be gone in an instant. Because I value myself too much...
