She sheer amount of whining these days is atrocious. The number of people complaining about how hard they’ve got it has seriously frustrated me more than almost anything else. It’s pretty fucking simple, really: Do what needs to be done to get what you want. And if you choose NOT to do those things, then you have no right to complain. What you want in life won’t be handed to you, it must be earned through hard freaking work. So you want the money So you want the community So you want the best-selling book So you want the house So you want the travel So you want it all, but – What are you doing to actually GET it? Showing up is a start, but it’s not enough. Writing a few Facebook posts and sending a few emails isn’t enough either. Unless your goal is just to be a great writer. 🙂 If you have bigger goals than just that, you need to also be – Growing your community Selling non-stop (and honing your sales skills) Genrating an abundance of content Engaging with your tribe Growing your team and your support Generating leads every day Planning and executing Cultivating (and maintaining) a success mindset Marketing yourself and your business And doing a million and one other things. And it all sounds like a lot, I know. That’s because it IS a lot. And it’s what needs to be done if you want to build a freaking empire! The good news is that you don’t have to do it all on your own. There are plenty of people who...

One of the most frustrating things about the online coaching world (or any online business world, really, not just coaching), is the amount of people telling you what you SHOULD be doing. And it’s normal to look at those who appear to be mega successful and want to replicate exactly what they do, so you can get the exact same results they are getting, but – That’s not how it works. One BIG lesson I’ve learned over the past 13 years of working online is that you have to do what feels right to YOU. Fuck the rules, ignore everyone, else, go deep within yourself, and do whatever YOU feel called to do. You don’t HAVE to create a funnel You don’t HAVE to spend a penny on Facebook ads You don’t HAVE to spend a month launching You don’t HAVE to do sales calls You don’t HAVE to create sales pages You don’t HAVE to wait until you sell You don’t HAVE to do webinars or calls You don’t have to do a damn thing that you don’t feel called to do. Your people? They want to know YOU. They want to know who you are. They don’t JUST want your how-to’s and step-by-step’s. They want to know who you are as a person, at your CORE level. They want to know what you believe in, what you stand for, what you DON’T stand for. And all of that? All of that is CONTENT! It’s all stuff that you can share, it will help people, and you can make money from sharing it. Remember: They want to know...

I used to think I had it all figured out. That all I needed to succeed in any area of my life was a step-by-step, fail-proof plan, and the will power to follow through. And while the will power is absolutely necessary, I learned that the “plan” most certainly is NOT. I mean, yeah – It CAN help. But it is certainly not the end all, be all. And I think it’s helpful to create SOME type of a plan to achieve something you want to achieve. But the plan is not going to do the work for you. Because sometimes (most times), the plan is not the plan. In other words: ALLOW THE PLAN TO CHANGE Allow the uncertainty of “how the fuck am I gonna make this happen” to be present. The “how” doesn’t matter anyway, and it very rarely presents itself until the exact moment you need it. So stop trying to plan HOW you’re going to do things and instead focus on – The WHAT (what the hell do you want?) The WHY (why exactly do you want it?) The WHEN (when do you want to have it by?) Those are the only things that matter. Now most people, when they decide that they want something, this is what they do: they try to plan out exactly how they’re gonna get it. And while the idea kind of makes sense in a way, because you can’t just say “I want a million dollars” and then sit on your ass and wait for it to magically appear in your bank account – It’s not really logical to...
