Sometimes I wonder how the hell everything got to be so easy for me. How am I able to just wake up every day, do what I want, say what I feel, and get paid extremely well to essentially just show up and be ME? I’ll tell you how – I learned how to do what felt RIGHT. I learned to ignore the rules that others tried to tell me to follow. I learned how to trust my gut, believe in myself, and speak from the heart. I just learned how to be a better version of me, really! 🙂 Because here’s the truth that will really set you free: You do NOT have to be like everyone else. In fact, if you attempt to do so, you will fail (because you can’t be anyone but yourself), and it will be a painful crash and burn experience that will leave you wishing you never tried to conform to in the first place. You and me? We’re different in the sense that although we love to plan and we love to strategize, we just don’t like to follow a script, a play-by-play, a guideline.. unless the guideline is to show up, speak your truth, share your message, and just be you. 🙂 We’re different because we break rules, not follow them. We’re different because we run TOWARD uncertainty and fear, not away from it.
