Are you truly committed to doing whatever it takes to achieve the goals you’ve set for yourself? Are you willing to fail repeatedly? Are you willing tobe judged and criticised? Are you willing to invest thousands of dollars? Are you willing to sacrifice sleep ocassionally? Are you willing to hustle even when it hurts? Are you willing to really, truly, go ALL THE WAY in? Because if you’re not, let me just tell you right now: You’re in for a tough road ahead. Success requires sacrifice, and regardless of what anyone else tries to tell you, that is the truth. Success requires time. It requires money. It requires doing things that are uncomfortable. It requires being honest. It requires consistent action. It requires full on DEDICATION. And that means that at times, you will have to make sacrifices. Sure, it’s a nice thought that you can have success without sacrifice. It’s cool to dream. But don’t believe anyone who tells you that it can always be easy, that there won’t ever come a time when you have to give something up in order to have that other thing you desire. Anyone who tells you that is a liar, and if you pay close enough attention to them and the stuff they spew on a daily basis, you’ll see that they’re totally full of shit and that they make sacrifices all of the time. I can’t be the only person who feels uncomfortable doing nothing can I? I see people just sitting around.. people watching, watching TV (the news… OMG!), talking to each other about the weather (seriously? you have nothing else to talk about?), laying on the beach.. and it just makes my skin crawl. It makes me physically sick to my stomach. Not that other people are doing it, but just the thought of me doing it.. Nope. Can’t do it. I can’t just do nothing. My soul starts to cry. It starts screaming at me – GET UP! DO SOMETHING! MOVE! SPEAK! OPEN YOUR DAMN MOUTH! I need to be doing. I need to be moving. I need to be living. Sitting still is not living to me. Not that I don’t love to rest from time to time. And I DO have my daily 15 minute “thinking time” ritual, where I force myself to sit still and do nothing for a MAX of 15 minutes to allow me to tune in to my inner self and discover any guidance that may be coming through. But other than that, I’m busy. This is why I tend to say NO to a lot of requests to spend time with people. If you ask me to hang out and I say yes, consider yourself one of the chosen few. Not many people get a YES from me when it comes to “hanging out”. If I know you won’t judge me (and may actually ENCOURAGE me) for being on my phone/computer/journal while we’re together, you’re likely to get a yes. 🙂 Because no, I don’t want...

Let me give it to you straight: ENTREPRENEURSHIP IS NOT FUN. It’s blood, sweat and tears all day long. It’s trying 10x and succeeding once. It’s giving everything up for your dreams. It’s a long haul of frustration. It’s not some way to get rich quick and live happily ever after. If you believe that, you’re delusional. Entrepreneurship is a lifestyle. It’s something you are born as. You can’t “become” an entrepreneur. You either are one or you aren’t. You just KNOW. It’s a feeling in your soul that you usually start to feel when you’re just a kid and want to make money. Lemonade stands, door to door sales, the works. If you did that and you loved it? Baby, you’re an entrepreneur! If you’re entreprener, you know: It ain’t a fucking joke. Being an entrepreneur is hard work. It’s a lot of work. It’s sometimes frustrating work. But you know that it’s who you are. So you embrace it, even when it sucks. And because entrepreneurship is a crazy fucking ride, it can be easy to fall into the trap of thinking it’s all fun and games. You can just create a product, and a funnel, set up some FB ads, and then you’re rich and free and don’t have to lift a finger practically ever … HA! Not. Even. Close. To. Being. Correct. Don’t believe the hyped up “ease and flow, ease and flow!” content you see out there. Don’t listen to the people who tell you that everything is so fucking easy, because that’s a bullshit lie. I’m not saying it can’t be easy, but it’s not ALWAYS easy....
