HAVE YOU GIVEN YOURSELF PERMISSION YET?

I think one of the saddest things is when you don’t allow yourself to have, be, do and experience the things you want in life. I think the conditioning we’re brought up with around wanting MORE being a bad thing, is devastating. And I think the fact that we accept less than what we really desire is one of the greatest of our failures. It’s possible to have what you want, and then some. It’s possible to do what you want, or better. It’s all possible, and it’s possible now. The problem is that you haven’t given yourself permission.Permission to dream a bigger dream and go after it.Permission to ask for what you want, and expect it.Permission to do what you feel called to do, with no explanation of why you’re doing it.Permission to be you.Permission to receive. All this holding back, playing small, acting as though you’re HAPPY where you’re at and with what you have, when you really just are NOT. When are you gonna see that this is not a good look on you?All this SAYING and none of the EXPECTING and therefor, none of the RECEIVING. You can’t receive something you want if you’re not expecting to get it. And you can’t receive something you’re expecting if you don’t first ALLOW yourself to receive it in the first place. You can’t receive the things you want without first allowing yourself to receive in general, and then allowing yourself to receive the very specific thing that you want. I recognized yesterday that I wasn’t allowing myself to receive what I want from my book launch (to be on the Washington Post best-seller list, and an Amazon best-seller).I was...

YOU ARE JUST ONE CHOICE AWAY FROM A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT LIFE

You and I, we do things differently. We’re not like the regular entrepreneurs who love to have their ducks all in a row, everything organized and plans in place…We are the rebellious ones!We are the rule-breakers!We do things on our terms, always! And I know you know this, but I must say it anyway: You were born for more. Where you are right now - while you’re GRATEFUL for it - is not where you want to be. It’s a good place, a great place, a place you’re oroud to be at and HAPPY to be at, but… Something is missing, something feels just a teensy bit off, and what that is? Is your soul responding. Your SOUL is not happy. Your soul is just confirming to your new normal, but it is ready for you to jump toward that NEW new normal, ya know what I’m saying?Truth be told – You’ve been playing small.Things have been just a bit easy for you lately. Comfortable for you. And dare I say it - BORING for you! Boring because you’re just not completely SATISFIED. Isn’t it time you took off the mask and quit doing a zombie walk through life? Isn’t it time you let go of the fears that are keeping you STUCK olaying at ths level so you can move forward?Isn’t it time you simply chose differently?CHOSE to go biggerCHOSE to receive moreCHOSE to become your next level You are one choice away from a completely different life. You’re killing yourself staying where you are, and you know it. It’s been good while it lasted, but it’s not where you’re meant to stay. Never has been, never will be! You will continue to...

THIS IS THE WAY THAT WE DO THINGS AROUND HERE

It’s always been interesting to me, the idea of “boredom”. How does one get bored, exactly? How is it even possible to BE bored? The only way you can really be BORED is if you don’t actually love what you do, and if that’s the case, well.. that’s a while ‘nother problem! Whenever I meet someone for the first time, particularly if they’re not an entrpreneur, they ask me what I do (why is this always a conversation starter?!), and I tell them, they almost often ask “don’t you ever get bored?” – And I just don’t know what to say, because.. No. No, I don’t get bored. Sometimes I feel tired, or overwhelmed, or confused, but bored? Nah. I used to get bored - back when I was teaching stay-at-home moms how to make money blogging. I knew how to do that (had done it for years at that point), but teaching it made me wanna stab myself in the eye with a very dull pencil. It felt like torture. I was “bored” all the time. And when I say bored, I actually just mean out of alignment, because that’s what boredom actually is - a lack of doing what feels good for your soul.If you’re feeling the feelings of boredom, I would tune in and ask yourself if you’re spending your time on the things that actually matter to you – Because if you are, then what you’re feeling is not boredom, but lack of alignment. Do the inner work and investigate to see what exactly it is that isn’t in alignment for you - and then fix that shit STAT.The truth is, I work all the...

THIS IS HOW TO CREATE CONTENT EVERY DAY

Share what’s on your heart.Tell people what’s going on in your life.Talk about an experience that changed you.Let people know what drives you absolutely crazy.Give people advice on something you know a lot about.Tell people what you ACTUALLY think.Talk about why what others are teaching is actually WRONG.Be controversial AF when necessary.Share what you REALLY think.Document your days and share them with people.Leave love notes for your ideal clients to stumble upon.Be who you REALLY are, no holds barred. Do not, I repeat, do not pretend to be who you think you’re “supposed to” be or say what you’re “supposed to” say.Share your love.People like to be loved. They also like to be inspired, and motivated, and encouraged, and cheered on.When you show up and you GIVE with your whole heart, and share from the depths of your soul, you attract an audience of raving fans who buy all your shit and tell everyone they know about you.And they’re also pretty freakin’ cool, just like you, and people you actually enjoy talking to/working with/supporting/hanging out with in person! How you create content is you open up your mouth and say what you feel called to say in each moment.Your thoughts. Your beliefs. Your opinions. Your experiences.ALL CONTENT. WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU’RE GONNA MAKE IT

Let’s be honest. There are some people who just ain’t cut out for a life of entrepreneurship. It’s played up as a luxurious type of “job” to have, where the perks are a’plenty, and while that’s certainly TRUE, what is often left out of the picture is this: Years of constant hustle, where you feel like you’re always “on” while building up your business. Months of preparation that lead to failure in regards to a project or idea. Family and friends that repeatedly call you crazy, unrealistic, irresponsible, for dreaming as big as you do. Tens of thousands of dollars spent (if not MORE) on learning from the best (or as close to the best as you can find). People who doubt you, who talk mad shit behind your back, and who laugh when you tell then what you dream to do. Feeling alone more times than not; like you’re a constant loner and doubting the ease in which you can make friends (friends? who has time for friends?).Sacrificing something you don’t wanna sacrifice (a clean house, money, time, sleep, getting dressed) for the benefit of working on your business. When you look at a successful entrepreneur, you see the outside, world-friendly version of that person. You see the money, the freedom, the people they’ve hired, the stuff they’ve bought, the trips they’ve taken… you see the Instagram Entrepreneur. What you don’t see is the sleepless nights, where we can’t get a single solid hour of sleep without worrying about WTF we’re gonna do about whatever problem we’re dealing with at the moment, or because the passion is so damn strong that you MUST. TAKE. ACTION. NOW. What you...
