Yesterday was a regular day for me.
Other than the fact that I had a full VIP day instead of multiple calls, everything else was the same.
I still had to get up early to do my journaling, messaging and money work
I still had to do the morning routine and get the kids off to school
I still had to do my videos, my content creation, my lead generation tasks
I still had to do my all day long messaging and sales activities
But there was one thing that really stood out as different, and it actually happened first thing in the morning during my journaling time.
I set a financial goal that just FELT right instead of one I thought I was SUPPOSED to make. I wrote –
Today I received $8,500 USD in cash. It is so easy for me to make money every day!
I made the decision. In my head, it was a done deal. In my gut, I knew it was going to happen.
I didn’t dwell on it. I didn’t make a plan for HOW the money would arrive. I simply set the intention, really BELIEVED it was possible for me, and then ran the day like usual.
I’ve always been big on the hustle, and working my ass off to get what I want, but there was something about yesterday, where I was able to just RELAX a bit. Not physically, of course, because UGH, BORING. But mentally, I was calm. I wasn’t stressed. I wasn’t constantly thinking “how will I make $8,500 today? What should I do? OMG it’s already noon and no money has come in yet!”.
No panic. My brain was on RELAXATION mode. I just KNEW it was going to happen. The confidence was unshakeable. It was SO strong.
And let me tell you, when you have that kind of confidence in yourself, NOTHING can stop you from getting what you want.
When I went to bed last night, I did a quick check of my income for the day and saw that I was at $7,800.
No, it wasn’t the $8,500, but I considered the goal achieved because it was so damn close, and because it was way more than had a set a more “realistic” one-day goal. I’d rather set a huge goal and miss than a small goal and hit.
Let’s say I decided to play it safe and be “realistic” yesterday. I probably would have set a goal for $1,000. Maybe $2,000 MAX. And I know I would have hit that goal easily because it happens all the time. But my gut had other plans for me, and as I sat down to write in my journal yesterday morning, $8,500 is what I wrote, without thinking twice.
Even if I had “only” made $5,000, that’s still a lot better than the $1,000-$2,000 I would have made by playing it safe.
This is just an example of what happens when you make the decision to ______________ (make a certain amount of money, lose a certain amount of weight, find the perfect partner, whatever).
You have to listen to what your gut is telling you and then make the decision that it’s DONE. That goal has already happened for you, you just haven’t seen it manifest in front of you just yet. You must believe with EVERYTHING you’ve got that this is your new reality.
And then you must take action until you have what it is that you want.
You must have ZERO reluctance to do the work.
You must have ZERO disbelief that this can happen.
UNSHAKEABLE CONFIDENCE.
That’s what’s needed.
And I’ll be the first to admit that it doesn’t always come easy. But one way I know for SURE that it DOES, is when I am not trying to mimic others, when I am just truly being myself and listening in on MY thoughts and what I know to be true.
I don’t set goals based on what others think I can do.
I don’t hustle on tasks that others say I need to hustle on.
I don’t create things that others believe I need to create.
I listen in. To ME. And the answers ALWAYS come. And the BELIEF that I am right, that everything will work out the way I want, just HAPPENS. It’s like magic, except it’s not, it’s really just the belief in myself, the belief in my dreams, the CONFIDENCE is just THERE.
Because I’m tuning in to ME. I’m showing up as me. I’m speaking and acting as ME.
And that’s what people are looking for in you.
They want you to just simply be YOURSELF. They want to hear your thoughts, hear about YOUR day, hear about YOUR dreams.
Yeah, they want to know how you can help THEM, but in reality, you’re helping them by being YOU!
Don’t you get it? All they really want is YOU! They don’t need your “professional” videos. They don’t want your fancy sales pages. They just want you to open your fucking mouth and tell them what they need to hear.
So why –
WHY –
Are you afraid to give that to them?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned in my 12+ years of building businesses is this:
BE YOUR FUCKING SELF. Because THAT is what people buy. They don’t buy your program, your course, your package. They buy YOU. What you think, what you believe, what you stand for.
Standing up and truly being YOU, completely unfiltered and without censorship is EXACTLY what will grow your community of raving fans, allow you to make the biggest impact in the world, and enable you to make a fuckton of money in the process.
