If you don’t have clients right now, or you don’t have as many as you’d like, I’m willing to bet that this is the reason why: YOU’RE LOOKING IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES.
Sure, you’re probably looking on Facebook. You’re probably emailing your list. And you’re probably telling everyone in your family who will listen to you about what you do.
But the clients just aren’t coming as fast and furious as you’d like.
Here’s what you do:
Step #1: Believe
SO many women skip this step and that is such a huge mistake because I truly believe that if you skip it, you will not ever hit the level of success that you want.
So - first things first - you need to believe in yourself. You need to believe that you have what it takes to live the life you want. That you are worth the amount of money you charge. That you’re good at what you do.
Success is 99% inner work, and part of that inner work is the belief that the life you want is MEANT for you.
Step #2: Clarity
Make sure you know EXACTLY who you want to be working with and how you can help them. Get super, super clear on who this person is.
Then, brainstorm ways to find her/him. Where do they hang out? Online? Offline? Facebook - pages or groups? Which ones? What hashtags do they follow on Twitter and Instagram? What are their favourite Periscope accounts? What blogs do they read?
Come up with a list of places your ideal client is spending time and then GO THERE. Spend time there. Show yourself as an expert there. And watch the RIGHT people start flooding to you.
Step #3: Routine
Part of having a successful business means having routines in place that you follow consistently. A few routines you should consider implementing in your business:
:: Morning routine - Get yourself ready for the day. Meditation, affirmations, visualizing, journaling, creating a gratitude list, spending time in nature, exercising, showering, coffee. (Choose what really lights you up and do those things every morning.)
:: Social media routine - Which social media platforms are you being visible on (make sure this is where your ideal client hangs out)? How often are you showing up? (At LEAST once a day.) What kind of content are you sharing? What time of day are you showing up and for how long? Get SUPER specific and stick to this routine so you don’t get sucked in to Facebook or Periscope for hours at a time.
:: Self care routine - Yes, having a proper self-care routine is going to allow you to have a successful business and get more clients! If you don’t take care of yourself, you’ll have nothing left to give anyone else. So make sure you have a self-care routine in place. For example: my self-care routine consists of having a 1 hour lunch break, 10-15 minute breaks every 2 hours, finishing work at 5pm (usually) and not working on weekends. I also treat myself to gifts and experiences often.
With the proper routines in place, it really is possible for you to have consistent $5K, $10K, even $20K months with your business. I know this because I’ve done it.
I’ve walked through the trenches so YOU DON’T HAVE TO. I’m sharing every single thing I’ve learned with you in Babes in Biz Bootcamp, my signature program that I just opened the doors to 2 weeks ago. This program is for women that are sick to death of just scraping by and ready to say goodbye to the struggle and hello to constant cash flow by the thousands.
If that sounds like you, head over and grab your spot before the doors close for good. (The first 25 women also get a bonus 1:1 session with me and sales page copy from a pro copywriter!)
See you soon!
