My 3-step plan for consistent clients & customers

Recently I was having a conversation with a friend (another coach) and she told me she felt like a fraud because she was teaching her clients how to get consistent clients, but she wasn’t able to do so herself.

She knew how to get clients, but she didn’t know how to get them consistently.

Yesterday, I read more than 3 posts in my Facebook Group, where women were either complaining about not being able to have a consistent income in their business or asking for advice on how to have consistent clients in their business.

Apparently this is an issue for many people.

It’s no fun having to chase the clients, the customers, the money. It might seem like fun in the beginning, but eventually it becomes exhausting and you just get frustrated and annoyed that “it isn’t working” for you.

Today I’m sharing with you my 3-step plan for consistent clients and customers (which means consistent CASH as well!). I’ve been following this plan for over a year now, and because of that, I’ve haven’t had a problem consistently getting clients & customers.

Let’s dive in.

Step #1: Know Your Numbers

Instead of “hoping” to get a new client this month, or sell 10 spots in your course, get more specific. Specificity drives quicker results.

Every month, set yourself a financial goal. How much money do you want to bring in? How many of each of your current offerings do you need to sell, in order to hit that number?

Each week, set another number goal: how much money do you want to make this week? How many of each of your current offerings do you need to sell, in order to hit that number?

Step #2: Market Like a Pro

Take a look at your list of offerings to sell. Create a list of at least 15 different ways that you can sell those offerings. Don’t worry about HOW you’ll do it, just start giving yourself some ideas.

Schedule at least 3 of those ideas into your calendar for the next month (ideally, give them all a shot, but if we’re being realistic, you won’t get to all of them in one month, so aim for at least 3).

Now, get out there and hustle!

Step #3: Stay Focused & Consistent

A big reason why so many entrepreneurs fail is because they’re either not focused on the right tasks or they’re not consistent with actually completing the right tasks (but usually it’s both of these mistakes together - yikes!).

There are hundreds of things you can be doing in your business right now, but only a small handful of them are worth your time. It’s important to know what those tasks are and avoid everything else.
