You know your stuff is good.
You know you provice exceptional value.
You know your people need you.
But you can’t seem to get people to listen to you when you speak. You’re lacking in likes, in comments, in shares, in messages, in emails, in tweets, in… well, you get the idea.
You’re invisible and here’s why –
1. You’re inconsistent
Want to know a good way to get people to ignore you? Show up only periodcially. Better yet, don’t show up at all!
If you want people to remember you, follow you, like you, BUY from you, then you need to show up and be in their face ALL.THE.TIME. I’m talking day in and day out, without fail, no excuses.
2. All you do is sell
People want to know that you have something of value to give them, and you’re not gonna get that across just by simply yelling BUY MY STUFF at the top of your lungs.
I’m sure your paid stuff is great, but no one is going to know that unless you give them a taste.
Remember this: every time you sell, give valuable, FREE content first! This is one of the best ways to land the sale (plus, you won’t ever feel “salesy” again!
3. You’re not an expert
Have you PROVEN to people that you’re a pro at what you do? If you’re feeling invisible, then no, you likely haven’t.
The best way to show others that you’re the best is to simply BE the best. Constantly be LEARNING and implementing. Every day be sharing these things and putting them into practice. Share your results and teach others.
When you show up AS the best, people start to SEE you as the best. (And those who are the best, get PAID the best.)
4. You haven’t built a solid community
There’s nothing more important than building a community of loyal, raving fans and then going above and beyond for them every single day.
Those that buy from you are usually not strangers, but are people that have been in your community (even for just a short while). This is because they feel like they are one of you. One of the cool kids, finally!
And so they are more excited about your offers, way more trusting of YOU, and therefore, much more likely to hit BUY.
5. Your message is unclear
The reason people follow you is because they resonate with you and your message. They believe in what you’re saying. They believe in you. And if people don’t even know what the fuck your message actually IS? They’ll leave.
Because they don’t know what you stand for.
We all want to be part of a cool club where everyone has the same vibe, the same beliefs. And if you don’t tell me what your beliefs and vibe actually ARE with your message ever day, well, I’ll ignore you and move on to the person who actually is super clear with those things.
6. You don’t give a shit
No, really. You just don’t CARE if you succeed at this. Deep down, you probably want to fail because you think that success will be too much for you. So you’re just playing it safe. Waiting for shit to hit the fan so you can say “yep, I KNEW this would happen!” and just give up.
If you really gave a shit, you’d be doing whatever the fuck it took to find that success. Hiring mentors, working constantly, getting your hustle on, getting up when you’re knocked down. And right now, you’re not. Otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this. 🙂
Give a shit about your mission, your message, your PEOPLE, and feeling invisible won’t be an issue for you any longer!
