What you charge for your programs and services is irrelevant. You could charge $2 or $200,000 and it wouldn’t matter.
You will STILL have people say “no”, and you will still have people say “yes”.
Because what really matters is never the price tag, it’s the value associated with it. That’s what people are interested in. The price is just a small detail.
If you can sell me a RESULT, I don’t care what the price is, I. AM. IN!
When I signed on to work with my coaches, it wasn’t because they were “cheap” or because I could “afford” them, it was because my soul told me I had no other choice. That this WAS my answer.
Even though it made zero sense on paper, even though I was drowning in debt, credit cards maxed out, bleeding money like crazy, I STILL invested a lot of money in coaching.
Not because I’m insane (although some may argue this fact!), but because I’m fucking SMART.
Because I know that every time I invest in myself in a big way like that, I get the motherfucking results.
Every time I push myself just outside of my comfort zone, I experience bigger and better shifts than I ever have in the past when I was just playing it safe.
I don’t give a shit what the price is.
If I can get a RESULT from that financial investment, I’ll find a way to make it happen.
I’ve spent well over $100,000 on coaches and mentorships and will spend MUCH more than that in the coming months, because I know how VALUABLE having mentorship is.
I’ve had to borrow money from family to pay for mentorship/coaching.
I’ve had to take out a new credit card to pay for mentorship/coaching.
I’ve had to raise the limit on my current credit cards to pay for mentorship/coaching.
I had to sell things around the house to pay for mentorship/coaching.
I had to SACRIFICE in the short term, so that I could BENEFIT in the long term.
On paper, and if you looked at my bank account, I didn’t have any money.
But when my coaches were asking for $15,000 and $20,000 and $30,000..
I didn’t say “I want to, but I can’t afford it” or “I’m just gonna go and implement what I learned from your $197 course first” (meaning: I can’t afford it and don’t want you to know that I can’t afford it).
Instead, I said YES.
Even though I didn’t have a clue HOW I was gonna pay for it.
Even though it seemed like a terrible idea. Irresponsible. Selfish. Reckless.
Even though I was TERRIFIED.
I said YES.
Because my soul knew that this was the answer. And I know, deep down, that this was exactly what I needed.
(And I also knew from experience that whenever I worked with a coach/mentor, my income skyrocketed!)
It was a no-fucking-brainer.
So I didn’t let MONEY get in the way.
Lack of money is just an obstacle put in your path to see if you’re actually fucking serious.
I’ll say it again;
LACK OF MONEY IS JUST AN OBSTACLE PUT IN YOUR PATH TO SEE IF YOU’RE ACTUALLY FUCKING SERIOUS.
And if you are?
You won’t let lack of money stand in your way. You’ll figure it the fuck out.
THAT is when miracles happen: When you don’t think you can do something, but you work your freakin’ ass off and MAKE IT WORK.
The universe responds with “hell yes, this chick is serious”, and starts supporting you and guiding you in ways you never thought were possible.
I know that trying to do it all on my own is incredibly vain (and not gonna happen).
I’ve TRIED going the route of “I’ll just download all the free shit and figure it out!” –
L-O-FREAKIN’-L!
Sure, I learned a few things, and sure, I did make some money, but it as short-lived and it took me FOREVER to actually implement it all, because I didn’t have someone there to guide me and help me to shorten the learning curve.
I’ve even worked with coaches in the past and instead of continuing to work with them, I said “I’m just gonna go and apply what I learned now”, assuming I no longer needed them.
Except I didn’t apply what I learned.
And I didn’t blow up my results.
And I didn’t have the financial windfall that I expected.
In fact - my income went DOWN, and fast!
Until I hired my coach again, and the money started to flow almost instantly. Not sure why I tried to go back to doing it all on my own again when CLEARLY it was working out having someone by my side.
All of this to say:
Your excuses are bullshit.
Your excuses around money are EXACTLY why you are where you are with money.
Not investing in things because you “can’t afford it” is just going to continue presenting you with more things/experiences that you “can’t afford”.
In other words:
YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO AFFORD IT IF YOU KEEP TELLING YOURSELF THAT YOU CAN’T AFFORD IT.
If something is a HELL YES in your soul, and you know it and feel it, then a HELL YES is the only acceptable answer that should come out of your mouth.
The HOW will figure itself out.
That’s not yours to worry about.
Your only job is to act on the guidance of your soul.
