The truth is, when it really comes down to it and if you’re being REALLY honest –
You just don’t wanna have to work hard to get what you want.
Don’t get it twisted –
You DO love the work, and you love DOING the work, and you want co CONTINUE to do so!
But “working hard” according to the standards of others? Nahhhhh, no thanks. Hard pass.
The mere thought of being glued to your laptop all day long, turning away friends & family because you’re “busy” –
Gives you that anxious knot in your stomach, doesn’t it? Doesn’t feel good at all, right?
I think this is a big reason why the normals just don’t get us. They see us work, work, workin’ what appears to be ALL of the time, but what they don’t realize is –
We aren’t working.
We’re LIVING.
And we just so happen to get paid for it.
The writing
The IG stories
The emails
The messaging
The audios
The reading
All “work” in the eyes of other. To us, though, we know that it’s not work at all, even though it does get us PAID.
So why, then, does it always feel so damn HARD?
What happened to EASE? What happened to things happening naturally and without much effort?
Because you’re allowing the ideas of WORK, to affect you. Or should I say INFECT you.
You’re gettin’ your HUSTLE on, and even though the hustle can feel like ease and flow and joy, it feels like WORK. Because those around you? Those in your circle? Decided long ago that “work” or “hustle” was a very dirty word.
And because that decision led YOU to believe the same.
So whenever you even so much as THINK about working and gettin’ shit DONE, you tense up. You don’t WANNA. It feels so HARD.
How do you shift this?
Get yourself a ner circle, first off!
Align yourself with people who believe hustle & WORK = fun & play & ease & joy.
Put yourself in situations where these people are in abundance. Where they are THERE and available to be energy-syphoned from. 😉
Do whatever is necessary to put yourself in the energy of people who “work” with ease. People who inspire you to make money just by LIVING.
It’s possible, you know –
MORE than possible –
To get paid just to be you.
I didn’t believe this for the longest time, and actually pushed it away for quite awhile as I thought it sounded rather arrogant, and didn’t want to come off that way.
Slowly but surely, the more I surrounded myself with mentors, friends and team members that were living that reality themselves, well –
It just sort of happened.
Because I decided to be one of ’em.
One of those who got paid just to be herself. Just to show up and be ME and get paid for it.
Of course, there’s definitely VALUE that I provide, and I provide a lot of it every day, but more than that, there is an ENERGY that I release every day that is a magnet for those who are seeking that kind of energy in their life.
You can’t just sit on your ass every day and do nothing to serve others and expect to be paid for that.
But when you show up every day and just talk about the things that you’re passionate about; and that you’re actually really good at and knowledgable about –
That VALUE is VALUABLE. And your people - those who resonate with that, as well as those who resonate with YOU and the way that you show up and deliver that value –
They are captivated. MAGNETIZED.
And they can’t get enough.
They show up every day and look and look and look for MORE of you –
“What has she shared today?”
“What will I learn from her today?”
YOU are their “daily dose”, their “daily ecstasy”. They CRAVE YOU. Every day.
At which point –
Yes, they will buy from you. Whatever you’re selling, they want it. Because they’re addicted to you and the energy you exude. They know that no matter WHAT it is that you’re seling, it will be valuable, because your energy is involved.
So yeah. Get yourself a new circle.
But also –
And perhaps most importantly of all –
PUT YOURSELF ON THE LINE.
Which means, and this is where the faint-hearted need not apply (not that they COULD, even if they tried) –
Be willing to do the scary, hard things that no one else has the ladyballs to do.
Spend all of your money on mentorships with those who will help you make money, FASTER. Easier. That money will come back ten-fold.
Let go of friends and family that don’t believe in you and who are always so damn negative and unsupportive. (Or at the very least - spend way less time with them).
Get back up every time you’re knocked down, after every set-back, every “failure”, every roadblock, every time you launch something and no one buys, every time someone says something nasty about you (or TO you) –
Keep getting back up. Keep going. PERSIST, PERSIST, PERSIST. Eventually you WILL get where you wanna go.
And lastly, let us not forget, what will ABSOLUTELY, without a doubt, no question whatsoever, WILL get you what you want, EVERY TIME –
Decide.
Decide to get paid to be you.
Decide to wake up to payment notifications every day.
Decide to spend your days doing what feels fun & easy.
Decide to attract people into your world that help you to elevate and think bigger.
Decide to be fully supported in everything you do.
Decide for making money to just be a result of BEING YOURSELF.
And then?
IT. WILL. BE. SO.
This is why we can’t usually get along with the “regular” people - they just can’t even FATHOM getting paid to be themselves.
But you?
Me?
US?
We know it’s possible. And so we choose it. We decide.
And it becomes our reality. Just like that.
