Push everything aside and do what needs to be done.

Push everything aside and do what needs to be done.

She sheer amount of whining these days is atrocious. The number of people complaining about how hard they’ve got it has seriously frustrated me more than almost anything else. It’s pretty fucking simple, really: Do what needs to be done to get what you want. And if you choose NOT to do those things, then you have no right to complain. What you want in life won’t be handed to you, it must be earned through hard freaking work.  So you want the money So you want the community So you want the best-selling book So you want the house So you want the travel So you want it all, but –  What are you doing to actually GET it? Showing up is a start, but it’s not enough. Writing a few Facebook posts and sending a few emails isn’t enough either. Unless your goal is just to be a great writer. 🙂 If you have bigger goals than just that, you need to also be –  Growing your community Selling non-stop (and honing your sales skills) Genrating an abundance of content Engaging with your tribe Growing your team and your support Generating leads every day Planning and executing  Cultivating (and maintaining) a success mindset Marketing yourself and your business And doing a million and one other things.  And it all sounds like a lot, I know. That’s because it IS a lot. And it’s what needs to be done if you want to build a freaking empire! The good news is that you don’t have to do it all on your own. There are plenty of people who...
CREATE MORE. SELL MORE. IMPACT MORE.

CREATE MORE. SELL MORE. IMPACT MORE.

One of the most frustrating things about the online coaching world (or any online business world, really, not just coaching), is the amount of people telling you what you SHOULD be doing.  And it’s normal to look at those who appear to be mega successful and want to replicate exactly what they do, so you can get the exact same results they are getting, but –  That’s not how it works. One BIG lesson I’ve learned over the past 13 years of working online is that you have to do what feels right to YOU. Fuck the rules, ignore everyone, else, go deep within yourself, and do whatever YOU feel called to do. You don’t HAVE to create a funnel You don’t HAVE to spend a penny on Facebook ads You don’t HAVE to spend a month launching You don’t HAVE to do sales calls You don’t HAVE to create sales pages You don’t HAVE to wait until you sell You don’t HAVE to do webinars or calls You don’t have to do a damn thing that you don’t feel called to do.  Your people? They want to know YOU. They want to know who you are. They don’t JUST want your how-to’s and step-by-step’s. They want to know who you are as a person, at your CORE level. They want to know what you believe in, what you stand for, what you DON’T stand for.  And all of that? All of that is CONTENT! It’s all stuff that you can share, it will help people, and you can make money from sharing it.  Remember: They want to know...
ALLOW THE PLAN TO CHANGE COMPLETELY

ALLOW THE PLAN TO CHANGE COMPLETELY

I used to think I had it all figured out. That all I needed to succeed in any area of my life was a step-by-step, fail-proof plan, and the will power to follow through. And while the will power is absolutely necessary, I learned that the “plan” most certainly is NOT.  I mean, yeah –  It CAN help. But it is certainly not the end all, be all. And I think it’s helpful to create SOME type of a plan to achieve something you want to achieve. But the plan is not going to do the work for you. Because sometimes (most times), the plan is not the plan. In other words: ALLOW THE PLAN TO CHANGE Allow the uncertainty of “how the fuck am I gonna make this happen” to be present. The “how” doesn’t matter anyway, and it very rarely presents itself until the exact moment you need it. So stop trying to plan HOW you’re going to do things and instead focus on –  The WHAT (what the hell do you want?) The WHY (why exactly do you want it?) The WHEN (when do you want to have it by?) Those are the only things that matter.  Now most people, when they decide that they want something, this is what they do: they try to plan out exactly how they’re gonna get it. And while the idea kind of makes sense in a way, because you can’t just say “I want a million dollars” and then sit on your ass and wait for it to magically appear in your bank account –  It’s not really logical to...
What to do when you don’t know what do to

What to do when you don’t know what do to

When the light goes out, only you can turn it back on. You can’t wait for someone else to do it for you, or you may be waiting a long freaking time. And the thing is –  The light? It will often go out. It will disguise itself as fear, and confusion, and overwhelm and lack, and scarcity, and doubt, and everything in between, and it will turn out your light. Your light of passion, of dominance, of getting shit done, changing lives and creating a life you love.  In other words –  The thoughts in your head?  They will challenge you. They will confuse you.  They will scare you.  They will frustrate you. They will excite you.  They will give you confidence. They will hold you back. The thing about mindset work, is that it’s ALWAYS gonna be there. You always have to focus on it. You always have to make a conscious decision to improve your mindset every single day. Because if you don’t, the light will go out. And you won’t know how the fuck to turn it back on again and make things better. And so you will wallow in self-pity.  You will cry yourself to sleep at night because shit isn’t going the way you want it to.  You will go back and forth around what you should do to make things better again.  Instead of getting right to the root of the problem - your mindset - and fixing it.  Learn how to turn the light back on. Learn how to take a bad situation and make it better. Learn how to take...
Don’t fit the criteria? Expect to be IGNORED.

Don’t fit the criteria? Expect to be IGNORED.

I get really frustrated with people sometimes. Okay, a lot of the time. Okay, almost daily.  Because most people just piss me the hell off.  I wish I wasn’t this way… okay, so maybe I don’t… but deep down I believe I shouldn’t be this way, but I am, and honestly, I’m glad I am because being this way has gotten me this far, and I think that’s worked out quite well, so 🙂 Anyway –  The reason most people piss me off is because they are not like me. And if you’re not like me, I really, TRULY, just don’t want to talk to you. I can’t fucking stand you. I think there’s something really wrong with you and if you get into my bubble somehow you will TAINT me, ruin me, turn me into YOU. And yes, that would be the worst thing ever.  And maybe I’m being harsh, but I don’t think so, because the truth is that I have a particular type of person I like to engage with, and I believe it’s okay, and even a GOOD IDEA to avoid people who are NOT this person.  The sad thing is that so many people have the qualities of the person I can’t stand. I’d say 9 out of every 10 people who read this are those people I can’t stand.  The people who say they want something, but then fuck around and don’t do what’s necessary to have it.  The people who say one thing and do another.  The people who get annoyed by people who share their successes, instead of be happy for...
