I’m upping my wealth game this year, and a big part of that is learning from those who are already uber wealthy.
Books.
Courses.
Mentorship.
Programs.
And one thing that keeps coming up is the idea of not spending money on necessary shit.
Agree. Totally on board with that.
But what I’m hearing more and more is that one of the “worst things” people “waste” their money on is luxury vehicles. This is usually the first thing they suggest you cut.
And every time, I make the most unflattering face when they mention it. I scowl. I mumble under my breath. I usually make a loud grunt of dissatisfaction.
Because - no.
Aquiring wealth doesn’t mean you strip yourself of everything that makes you feel like a wealthy person. FEELING wealthy is the #1 way to BECOMING wealthy.
You don’t live like Scrooge, scrounging every last cent, to become wealthy. That’s the most ridiculous scarcity mindset kind of shit ever.
Yes, you wanna get rid of expenses you don’t NEED (meaning they aren’t bringing you joy or making you money).
But getting rid of your luxury car just because it depreciates in value the second you drive it off the lot? Is horseshit.
HORSE.
SHIT.
My CAR, regardless of how much it costs me, is not going anywhere.
My car brings me more joy than almost anything. I FEEL wealthy when I’m in it, when I drive it, even just when I LOOK at it. And feeling wealthy brings more money into my life.
The wealthier you FEEL, the wealthier you ARE.
Yes, I can “afford” it. I can also “afford” the $10K/month home we were living in, but we’re no longer in that home because IT DIDN’T BRING ME JOY. So it was easy to cut.
So no thankyouverymuch, I will not be getting rid of my luxury car. Or anything else that gets me into the FEELING of wealth.
But yes, I can totally ditch the coffee maker in the cupboard (matcha for life, baby!) and the subscription memberships I haven’t used in 8 months.
Wealth is WAY more than just cutting expenses. If you want to attract more wealth, you need to focus on increasing the money you earn.
Focus on how you can provide more VALUE.
Focus on how you can help more people.
And ask for the sale, promote your offers, increase your income.
(And don’t forget about other ways to attract wealth: joint ventures, affiliate marketing, selling products, being an investor in a company, investing in stocks, real estate, and on and on - there are many options!)
Wealth is your birthright. Being massively wealthy is a gift not just for you but for those around you that you can help with your wealth.
The wealthier you are, the more good you can do in the world.
And therefor, it is not just an OPTION to be wealthy, but an OBLIGATION - to yourself, your family, your community, and the world!
(YES: You can totally keep your luxury car if it brings you joy. Remember: wealth is a FEELING first.)

Cassie
