WHAT ARE YOU GRATEFUL FOR TODAY?

WHAT ARE YOU GRATEFUL FOR TODAY?

It’s 1:30pm Friday.

>> I slept in until 8 (RARE!).
>> We had internet set up at the Consious Creator’s Castle.
>> Went to the drug store to buy soap, plastic forks, juice and hair detangler. (Couldn’t get more random if I tried.)
>> Drove around for what felt like hours trying to find a Starbucks that had a parking lot nearby. Failed misterably. Cried. Settled for Second Cup instead.
>> Did a load of laundry.
>> Swept the kitchen floor 4x. (Kids, man.)
>> Posted Day 5 prompts for my Journal Junkies! (<3 these badasses and everything they’re experiencing with this program!)
>> Called mom.
>> Called dad.
>> Did my journaling.
>> Did my money work.
>> Welcomed new members into Badass Boss Squad.
>> Content for my clients.
>> Ate my break-fast meal (no, not “breakfast”!) at noon.
>> Check-in with team.
>> Dealt with admin tasks.
>> Answered emails.

And aftet that monster non-Starbucks coffee, I am ready for MORE! But first, the kids and I are going to explore the big backyard and eat popsicles in the sun.

Grateful that I can do what I want, when I want, with whoever I want.

Grateful that I can make money being me, while I’m cooking, or shopping, or playing with my kids.

Grateful that I am surrounded by such badass people!

Grateful that this is my life. <3

Because it really wasn’t that long ago (less than 3 years), where my life looked NOTHING like how it does now.

Just a few years ago I was struggling just to pay a few hundred dollars a month for groceries. Not that we didn’t HAVE the money, because we did, but we THOUGHT we didn’t –

You see, the negative money mindset ran deep for so many years, it was near impossible to see the good –

It was so hard to express gratitude.
It was so hard to ask for (and expect) more.
It was so hard to fully believe I could be, do and have whatever I wanted.

So –

You guessed it –

I never actually got to have it. Ever.

I would just complain about the lack of it, which of course meant that I continued to make that my reality.

I was so focused on everything I didn’t have instead of focusing on what I had and was grateful for, while at the same time, CALLING IN MORE of what I wanted.

It’s no wonder I was never truly happy and satisfied. 🙂

These days I have so much to be grateful for, and looking back a few years, I realize now that, even then, I had so much to be grateful for. I’m ashamed I never realized it then.

Each day once of my practices is to express gratitude for everyone and everything in my life. I fill at least one page in my journal every single day.

Thank you for hot coffee
Thank you for our new home
Thank you for my truck
Thank you for my health
Thank you for my friends & family
Thank you for my patience
Thank you for the money in my bank account
Thank you for my country
Thank you for my clients
Thank you for my strength
Thank you for my brain
Thank you for my business
Thank you for my team
Thank you for my parents

I end each entry with this:

Thank you for everyone and everything in my life. I am forever grateful.

Sometimes I will keep going with it, like this morning, when I journaled exactly this:

I commit to seeing the beauty all around me and REALLY appreciating it.
I commit to being the best version of myself that I can be.
I commit to being a fun, present mom and wife.
I commit to always doing what’s best for me.
I commit to appreciating every moment.
I commit to living my BEST life, making the most of every situation, and loving every second of every day.

The more I express gratitude, the more I receive. The more I am thankful for what I already have, the more the universe delivers to me. t

The thing is –

No matter how “hard” your life may be right now, there is ALWAYS something to be grateful for. There is always A LOT to be grateful for.

Recognize it.

I promise your life will start to improve dramatically.
