MY CONFESSION –
It started out as a game.
“Let’s see if this actually works”, I say to myself.
This was after discovering the coaching industry and the coaches charging thousands of dollars to work with them.
They were helping their clients with making money online - something that I had years of experience doing for myself and a few friends, but never even THOUGHT to charge people to help them one-on-one.
But if others were doing it –
Clearly they were onto something.
Right?
So I figured, “what the hell, I’ll give it a shot”. I already knew how to make money online. Like I said, I’d been doing it for years. How hard could it be to simply tell others how to do the same?
Turns out –
Not so hard. IF you can get the clients, that is.
Because here’s something you won’t see on the fancy sales pages, in the emails, and on the professional 3-part video series’ –
The TRUTH that getting clients doesn’t just HAPPEN.
All these coaches make it seem to EASY to wake up to dozens of discovery calls and tens of thousands of dollars in sales every day.
But what they’re not telling you is this –
You HAVE TO put skin in the game.
You have to show up and do the work every day. Even when it’s hard. Even when it feels like it’s not working.
And truthfully, many days you’ll ask yourself “what the fuck did I get myself into?”.
And so many people quit, which is understandable. Because most people can’t hack it. Most people are SANE enough to walk away when they see how rough entrepreneurship is. Most people don’t have what it fucking takes because they’re NORMAL.
But you and I, we’re different.
We LIVE for this game.
We can’t stop. Won’t stop. Can’t get ENOUGH of it.
The challenges, the fears, the uncertainty –
They are what make us feel ALIVE.
When I got into the coaching industry just under 5 years ago, it started out as a game. I wanted to see if I could actually do it, find success with something that seemed so much bigger than me.
Deep down, I was thinking I was going to prove someone wrong. That it was actually impossible to sell $5K, $10K, $20K+ coaching packages and actually get people to buy.
I was SO SURE I would fail, and I kind of wanted to, just so I could be “right”.
But what I found was that not only did it “work”, it was also really EASY. Once I learned what the hell I was doing of course.
I hired a business coach right away. Because I ALWAYS go ALL IN once I decide to do something.
I learned from her. I learned from taking courses. I learned from other coaches. I learned from doing my own research.
I did A LOT of learning. And less than 6 months into my new business, I’d already made over $90,000 from coaching. 💰
So although this started as a game I was preparing to lose, it’s a game I continue to play and WIN. Bigger and better every time.
And really, the real message I want to drive home for you today, is this –
No matter how challenging things feel now, they CAN get better. And it can happen quickly, if you open yourself up to opportunities that can help you.
Don’t let the fear of failure stop you, because you just never know how easy that success you’re after actually is.
