You know you can just ask for MORE, right? I mean, really –
Whatever you want more of in your life, whether that’s money, success, friendships, time –
JUST ASK FOR MORE.
One of the most frustrating things for me is when people play small in their life. They only accept what society tells them is good enough and just the mere THOUGHT of asking for more freaks them out because they don’t want other people to think they’re greedy.
Fuck that!
Asking for more does not make you greedy, it makes you smart. Because when you have more, you’re able to give more. You’re able to change lives and make a difference. You’re not just like every other person on earth who struggles to pay their own bills, with no money left to spare at the end of the month to help the less fortunate or do anything that makes you feel amazing.
One thing that I do in my daily mindset work is ask for more.
I ask for more money
I ask for more soulmate clients
I ask for more support
I ask for more time
I ask for more answers
I ask for more ideas
I ask for more of everything!
And do you know what happens when I ask for more?
I FUCKING GET MORE, that’s what!
And every time I get more, I want to give more. Because I know that some people just don’t have the same opportunities that we do, opportunities that we’re WASTING because we’re not truly going all the way in and asking for more than what others deem necessary, and I have the ability to help them.
One of my biggest dreams EVER is to open an animal sanctuary that rescues farm animals that are about to go to slaughter. I would actually like to have multiple sanctuaries around the world, but at least 1 to start!
I’m also a HUGE supporter of cancer research because my biggest fear in life is dying of cancer or one of my loved ones dying of cancer. So I give a lot of money to charities that do cancer research. I want to be alive when they find a cure for cancer! So I give as much money as I possibly can to help them do as much research as possible.
Both of these things are what I’m focused on each day (in addition to other things, of course!) –
I know that the more money I make, the quicker I’ll be able to save more lives! At least, that’s how I’m choosing to think about it. It’s life or death for me. In my mind, for every day that goes by that I’m not increasing my income, an animal goes to slaughter and is killed. A person dies of cancer. Every day that I don’t make more money, an animal is tortured and abused. A person is tortured and abused from the cancer.
And so every day –
I ask.
For MORE.
Not because I’m selfish, but because I know that the more I have, the more I can give.
And –
I also know that the more money I make, the more I can invest in things that make ME feel good, such as pampering myself, travelling business class, high-end furnishings and vehicles, hiring more team members to help me, clothing that makes me feel amazing, living the VIP lifestyle –
And the reason I spend money on that stuff is because when I feel good, I want to do MORE.
And so I do! I do more, I ask for more, and I get more! Which means I can HELP more.
A lot of people see me talk about buying an $80,000 vehicle, spending $2K on new clothes, travelling business class multiple times a year, spoiling myself at every opportunity, and they ask me: “why not live a more simple life and give more of your money to the charities you care about?”, which I GUESS I can sorta get the confusion, but this is what it is –
In order to make a lot of money, you have to feel a certain way. That way looks different for everyone. If I only paid myself, say, $50K a year, which is all I really NEED to survive and be comfortable, and gave the rest to charities, I would not FEEL good. I would not feel important, I would not feel like I mattered, I would feel drained, I would feel RESENTFUL of those charities that were “taking” all of my money.
But on the other hand, if I paid myself $400,000 a year from the $500,000 I made, and gave $100,000 to those charities, I would feel INCREDIBLE, I would feel like I made a big difference and I would want to to MORE (because I FEEL good).
So now, with my $2 million goal for 2017, I can give MULTIPLE hundreds of thousands to charities! But if I wasn’t spending money on ME, paying myself a lot of money and investing in things and experiences that make me feel good, there’s no way I’d even bother trying to get to $2 million. I’d stay where I was, which means the amount of money I gave to charities would always stay the same, instead of GROW each year, like it’s doing now.
I think the point I’m trying to make is this –
The more you ask for, the more you get.
And the more you get, the more you can give. (Financially or otherwise.)
And so really –
It’s just plain IRRESPONSIBLE of you to ask for less! To settle. To be “content”. To stay the same and never grow.
You came here to change the world.
You came here to change lives.
You came here to make a difference.
Right?
So then, you need to simply ASK FOR MORE.
And when you get it, express gratitude, and then dial it up and ASK FOR EVEN MORE THAN BEFORE!
It’s your duty, your obligation, your responsibility, to ask for more. To be open to actually RECEIVE more. And then, of course, to GIVE more. To make that difference you came here to make.
Selfishness IS the answer here.
It’s okay. Go ahead and be selfish. IT’S OKAY TO WANT IT ALL!
It’s okay to want a new car every year.
It’s okay to refuse to travel less than business class.
It’s okay to hire multiple team members regularly.
It’s okay to buy yourself high-end clothing that makes you feel amazing.
It’s okay to ask for more. It’s okay to RECEIVE more.
Because when you ask for more, you get more, and you then are in a better position to GIVE more.
You’ll have people telling you that what you’re asking for is “too much”. Fuck ’em.
You’ll have people reminding you to be grateful for what you have and not ask for more. Fuck ’em.
You’ll have people trying to give you advice about how you should live YOUR life. Fuck ’em.
Do what you need to do for YOU to live out that vision. To make the impact.
It starts with asking for what you want, and then asking for MORE. Repeatedly.
It’s what’s necessary to live out your vision of changing the world.
Don’t forget –
You really can be, do and have EVERYTHING you want.
