In June 2016 I hosted my first ever in-person event with my badass friend, Courtney Davis.
I remember hiding in the bathroom more than once so I could puke in private and calm myself down. I was terrified. Scared I would do it all wrong. Worried people wouldn’t like me.
As scary as it was and as worried as I may have been, it all worked out beautifully.
Everyone had an incredible time, we treated them all to a high-vibe, luxury experience, and 2 years later, I’m excited to say that most of them are off doing incredible things.
Something happened during that event that I don’t normally talk about; something pretty freakin’ amazing that I believe is important, but not talked about enough:
The women there were up-lifted. They were treated to a VIP experience. They were surrounded by people and things and involved in experiences that were next-level amazing.
After the event, when we shot some testimonial videos, one question I asked was “how did you feel during the event?” and almost everyone said “I felt like a celebrity.. someone super important”…
Which is exactly what we were going for of course. Being in that kind of energy allows you to tap into your brilliance and pull out ideas that straight up MAKE YOU MONEY.
When you’re around money (example: being in a 5-star hotel) and people who have money, you start to get into that money vibe, which attracts more money to you.
It’s pretty fucking magical and is one of the main reasons I love to host such high-vibe events.
One of the last events I went to didn’t include hotel rooms. It didn’t include food. It didn’t include much of anything except for the trainings. All for a ticket price of over $2,000.
{And when I got there, the event was in a barn. A motherfucking BARN —- WTF???}
It didn’t feel like a VIP experience to me (even though that’s what their marketing promised it would be). It felt cheap.
It was a 2-day event and I left after the first 3 hours on day 1, vowing to never attend any of this person’s events again.. I also vowed to always ensure my events were high-vibe and that my clients felt taken care of.
