Whew, what a weekend!
Even though the snow/rain/ice/whateverthefuck tried to kill us, we survived. Even though we had to deal with lots of scraping and shoveling and multiple power outages, I am grateful.
Grateful for the time spent with my incredible clients.
Grateful for the upgraded Shangri-La suite I got to live in for 2 days.
Grateful I didn’t die on the drive home from said hotel.
Grateful I got to spend some extra time with my awesome client Courtney, who was stranded here with me because the roads were so bad.
Grateful for the work I do.
Grateful for it all! Even if it feels like winter is trying to make a comeback and spring is being a real pushover about it.
I was talking to a friend this morning and said that I was so happy about the fact that I didn’t need to drive in to work. That I can stay home if I want to (or need to in order to stay safe!). She said she had to go in no matter what, and it reminded me of why I started doing what I do in the first place –
To show people how to live a life that they love, on their terms, following their own rules (meaning: no more taking orders from others).
I’m so damn passionate about seeing other people live their best life. About getting them to understand that it’s all possible for them.
It’s possible for YOU. I hope you know that. You really, TRULY, can be, do and have whatever it is that your heart desires. Including the ability to stay home and avoid driving in shitty weather whenever you need to.
Do whatever you need to do to live a life that is YOURS. Where you’re not bound by the expectations of others and have the freedom to just BE. It’s worth everything.
