You’re NOT an entrepreneur!

Do you know why most people roll their eyes when you tell them you’re an entrepreneur?

Because phony entrepreneurs give entrepreneurship a bad name. They are not TRUE entrepreneurs, which means they consistently fail at everything they do, over and over, because they’re just not cut out to be an entrepreneur. And THAT’S OKAY. We weren’t all born to be awesome. 🙂

So when people hear the term “entrepreneur”, unless they’re a true entrepreneur themselves, they believe the word “entrepreneur” is another word for “unemployed”. Which is annoyoing as fuck, but I digress..

I’m so sick of the phonies, the pretenders, the wannabes, totally messing with my vibe on this. I am begging them to shut their trap and STOP saying they’re an entrepreneur when in reality, they are far from one. 

Please stop saying you’re an entrepreneur. You’re not! UNLESS – 

YOU LIVE FOR THE HUSTLE
Nothing makes you jump out of bed faster than knowing you get to work on making your dreams come true. You LOVE not just the results, but you love the PROCESS as well. You love the hustle, the grind, and getting what you want by being super proactive. You’re happiest when you’re working.

Even though you’ve TRIED to be a “normal” person and do the things you “should” do, you can’t focus. You just want to get back to the hustle. This is the #1 feeling that all TRUE entrepreneurs have about their life.

YOU HATE TO “TAKE IT EASY” AND “RELAX”
Here’s a great way to piss us off: tell us to take it easy, have a break, relax, or any other word that is basically asking us to slow down. HELL TO THE NO. Relaxing makes us anxious, we can never FULLY relax anyway, so why bother?

Asking an entrepreneur why they don’t take more time off or why they never seem to slow down is like asking a normal person why they don’t give up eating. Because it would seriously kill us to do it!

YOU ALWAYS HAVE BIG IDEAS
Your brain never turns off. There is ALWAYS something going on in that head of yours! You have a new idea before you fully launch the CURRENT idea you’re working on and this happens to you ALL THE TIME!

Right now I have 2 new launches planned, for programs that didn’t exist yesterday, and while I was actively promoting my CURRENT offer that starts in a few days. A true entrepreneurs brain never sleeps!

YOU HAVE A LOT TO SAY
Most people are timid. Most people are afraid to say what they really want to say, even if it could help someone (or themselves). Entrepreneurs have a lot to say… and they SAY IT. They get criticized often. They get told that they’re wrong.

But they still say what needs to be said because they have A LOT to say, and if they kept it all inside, their head would likely explode. The majority of people either DON’T have a lot to say (because they don’t have big dreams or the balls to go after them) or they’re too scared to say what needs to be said. If you’re an entrepreneur, you open your mouth every day and say what’s on your mind.

YOU DO SHIT THAT SCARES YOU EVERY DAY
Can you be successful by playing it safe, staying comfortable, and never doing anything that scares you? Maybe. But that depends on your definition of “successful”. And for most people, successful means BIG impact, BIG communities/following, BIG money, BIG life! If that’s what you’re after, then you need to start doing things outside of your comfort zone - daily!

Fear will absolutely hold you back. Entrepreneurs know this and that’s why they do shit that scares them every day; necause they know that if they continue to play small and be comfortable, they will never be able to receive more than what they already have.

YOU TAKE ENORMOUS RISKS
You aren’t an entrepreneur if you’re against taking risks, especially big risks. Huge risks. MASSIVE risks. I’m talking putting your entire life savings on the line to fund your dreams, spending countless hours every day training for something that will help you grow your empire, giving up A LOT in the present so that you can have MORE in the future.

Entrepreneurs take big risks ALL. THE. TIME. And how you can REALLY tell that they’re an entrepreneur? Is when they take those risks without thinking twice. They gamble every day and they LOVE IT. They love knowing that one big risk could mean one MASSIVE success. 

YOU’RE A CONTROL FREAK
It’s okay. No judgments from me. I’m a control freak, too, if you haven’t guessed that by now. Every entrepreneur is a control freak, and I don’t mean in the bad way, either. Entrepreneurs like to be in control, they like to know what’s going on, they like to introduce new ideas, and they like to ensure that shit gets done. 

You know you’re an entrepreneur if you always want to be the leader, you always want to be the one “in charge”, leading the way. And you REALLY know you’re an entrepreneur if you’re actually GOOD at this task. 🙂

YOU “DON’T HAVE TIME” FOR A LOT OF THINGS
This is probably going to get me a lot of hate mail (bring it!), but it’s the truth: REAL entrepreneurs don’t often have time for anything other than their business. Mostly because they don’t WANT to make time for anything else. 

I’m not saying you completely ignore your family or never leave the house, I’m just saying that what you WANT to do? What you would RATHER do over almost anything else? Is hustle. Is grow your empire more and more and MORE. 

The good news? If you do it properly, you can have your business, your family, and a pretty incredible life ALL at the same time. (The problem is that most people don’t have a clue how to do this, and so they fail at pretty much all of them.)

YOU’RE OKAY KNOWING THAT YOU’LL NEVER STOP
You’re likely realized by now that this is your life. This is how it will ALWAYS be, because it’s, deep down, how you truly WANT it to be. 

The late nights, the early mornings, the lack of sleep, the constant hustle, the brain never shutting the fuck OFF – 

This is your life. Forever. And you wouldn’t have things any other way. 🙂

The fact of the matter is this – 

MOST people can’t cut it as an entrepreneur. In fact, only around 12% of Americans are REAL entrepreneurs and only around 1% will ever be massively successful in entrepreneurship. These are the people that have entrepreneurship in their BLOOD. 

You and me are the same.

Just the mere THOUGHT of getting a “regular” job makes you want to puke.
OH HELL FUCKING NO, you say. 
It’s like a nightmare and one you can’t bear enduring!

You would rather spend tens of thousands of dollars on growing your business 10x faster NOW. 
You would rather give up hours of sleep every week.
You would rather say NO to nights out and YES to nights in.
You would rather do pretty much ANYTHING other than work for someone other than yourself!

We will stand together, us 1% of massively successful entrepreneurs. 😉
We will support one another. 
We will cheer each other on.
We will be the support system necessary to succeed.
We will hustle until the sun comes up.
We will do WHATEVER it takes.

Because really?

We can’t NOT. This is how it IS for us. And we fucking LOVE it.
