Have you been sitting quietly; mouth closed, fingers still on the keyboard, unsure of how to lay it all on the line and bare your soul to the world? Not wanting to come off arrogant, desperate, selfish, annoying.. or some other negative figment of your imagination, you keep it - all of it - to yourself, and you don’t fully allow yourself to express what’s on your mind and your heart. What you know you must, you must, you MUST let out… But don’t. Worried about how people might respond to what you have to say. Will they judge? Will they criticize? Will they cringe? Feeling unsure of yourself, your thoughts, your feelings, your emotions.. And so you sit. Still. Quiet. Alone. While the countless thoughts spin around and around in your head, begging to be released. Why can’t you let it out? What are you so unsure of? What are you afraid might happen? And most importantly – Why do you care? The thoughts and opinions of others are absolutely none of your business. They aren’t your concern. What IS your concern, though, is you showing who you are, and being present each day to share your gifts with the world. One day at a time, you show up. One day at a time, you say the words. Even if they’re hard to say. One day at a time, you stay consistent. Your Badass Boss Empire can’t be built in a day, a week, or even a year. It’s built over a large stretch of time, day after day, repeatedly. It requires a shit load of blood, sweat, tears, and a...

Repeat after me: “I choose to step up and go all the way in on my dreams. I choose to forgive myself for past mistakes and learn the lessons I was meant to learn through making them. I choose to allow myself to have it all, starting today.” Now look – I know you’ve had it rough the last little while. I know you’ve been feeling off, feeling like something’s just not right.. but not being able to put your finger on exactly what it is that’s bothering you. Or on why you haven’t felt like writing, or creating, or selling.. or doing much of anything, really. It’s easy to get sucked into the “I don’t know” of how you feel and it’s easy to stay there, too, if you choose to. But let’s just clear one thing up, okay? The problem is you. #sorrynotsorry It’s not the weather It’s not your partner It’s not because you feel sick It’s not because you’re tired It’s not because it’s hard It’s not because you can’t do it It’s not because you don’t have time It’s not because someone’s out to get you, either It’s because you simply haven’t reached the breaking point yet. The point where you fully feel that, “HELL YES, this is exactly what I’m meant to do!”, you feel that truth in every cell of your body, and you know that anything that takes you away from doing so, is sucking the life out of you. (And the worst part is that you’ve been allowing it to happen!) You must break free. Free from the noise of what everyone else...

There is a logical explaination for why things are stagnant in your business right now: You’ve given up. I know. You don’t want to admit it. You may not even realize that you have. But, it’s true. You’re tired, you’re frustrated, and you efeel like you’ve tried everyrhing to move forward without success. You’re bored. You’re irritated. And you’re acting like a whiny little brat about how it’s just not FAIR. Well - too bad. Suck it up. Life’s not fair. Hasn’t anyone ever told you that? This thing called life isn’t supposed to be simple and easy all of the time. The same goes for entrepreneurship. You’ve gotta go above and beyond what most people do if you want to have and enjoy what most people don’t. You’re smart. You’ve got the answers. You just haven’t allowed yourself to unlock and reveal them. They’ll all be revealed and you’ll feel so much better once you snap out of this lazy spell you’re under. I’m not saying you shouldn’t ever rest or relax, but when the money isn’t flowing the way you want it to, you’ve gotta be prepared to say FUCK REST, and get down to business. Work harder. Push harder. Do more. Go bigger. I hate to break it to ya (not really), but you’ve gotta do the big work if you want the big results – The messaging The content The sales The launches The engaging The community The promoting The visibility The writing The speaking The learning The implementing The sharing This is not an all day thing. I repeat: THIS IS NOT AN ALL DAY THING. You...

I was talking to a client earlier and something came up that I find is a common “problem” for most people, especially LEADERS – Not wanting to say the wrong thing at the wrong time. Also: Not wanting to offend anyone. I had to physically restrain myself from slaming down the phone, after releasing a loud SIGH. “Really? This again?”, I thought to myself. “Why don’t people get it? How can I explain this in a way that penetrates their mind so that it STICKS?” She went on to say “I have to take the time to make sure I say it right”… to which I blurted out “there is no RIGHT way to say it - you just open up your mouth and let it out!” Which brings me to another issue: CONTENT. Let me make this clear: Content is not something you create. Content is created by being who you ARE. Therefor, content can’t ever be an issue. You can’t ever wait, or put your business on hold, or “do it later” - that would require you to wait to THINK. And that’s simply impossible. You have 50,000-70,000 thoughts every day. There’s no way that you can shut those thoughts off. They’re gonna happen whether you want them to or not. Sharing who you are, is content. Sharing what think, is content. Sharing what you’re doing, is content. Sharing what you believe, is content. And how do you share that content, exactly? YOU SAY IT THE WAY YOU THINK IT. My “secret” to creating content all day, every day is that whenever I have a thought that I think “ooh, that’s good”, my unspoken...
