Why You Can’t Seem To Make More Money

Why You Can’t Seem To Make More Money

Here’s what’s happening: You’re scared about making money because you have an underlying belief/fear that you will either: A) Lose it all Have to do something you don’t want to do to make it And what that’s doing to you?  Is holding you the fuck BACK. Keeping you STUCK. Not allowing you to, in fact, receive MORE MONEY. So here’s what you need to do to shift this stuff: First: Forgive yourself for past mistakes you made with money. Next: Choose to release all negative beliefs/thoughts/feelings about money that are not serving you. Next: Decide on NEW beliefs/thoughts/feelings that will get you into the high-vibe flow state and allow you receive money with ease. And finally: Commit, right here and now, to doing what it takes to have the money you want – Embodying the next-level version of you who already has it. Asking for money with a clear purpose for every penny. Owning your worthiness. Deciding it’s a DONE DEAL. And acting accordingly. You get to have what you want simply because you want it. You can CHOOSE to receive more money. You can CHOOSE to receive money NOW. It’s all possible for you. Decide (it’s what you want). Ask (for it). Declare (it as a done deal). Act (on inspired thoughts that will guide you towards it). You’ve got this. I believe in you. It’s time for YOU to believe in...
I Was Working In The Couponing Industry

I Was Working In The Couponing Industry

Just a couple of years ago, I was working in the couponing/frugal living industry. I had one of the top blogs in Canada, was regularly featured in the media, and was making 6-figures/year posting coupons and great deals for my audience. But I felt… empty. It’s like I became a robot over time. Find coupon. Post coupon. Insert tags. Make image. Promote on Facebook. Repeat. I would spend HOURS every single day doing this (most days were 12+ hours), neglecting my family, my friends, and my own self-care.  I became obsessed with being “first” with the deals.  Eventually, I was just so exhausted from it all, so frustrated that no one recognized my hard work, plus I wasn’t even using most of the coupons/deals myself (since they were for products I didn’t want), and I just… quit. I said “fuck it” (or something along those lines), threw out my coupon binder, and didn’t post another coupon ever again. I switched over to coaching when a few people suggested it to me. At first, I was a blogging coach, since that’s what I was really skilled at, but about a month later, I realized that I actually hated blogging, and decided to coach on marketing/sales/general business instead.  I’d made 6-figures for years.  I knew how to market myself.  I knew how to sell to my audience. I knew how to get engagement and grow a huge following. So that’s what I’ve taught. That’s what I still teach.  And I am so grateful and EXCITED that this is what I get to call my job every day.  Helping other women find...
I Don’t Feel Sorry For You If You Don’t Get Results From The Work You Don’t Do

I Don’t Feel Sorry For You If You Don’t Get Results From The Work You Don’t Do

I’m sorry, but I don’t feel sorry for you if you don’t get results from the consistent work you don’t do. Just because you posted 10x, for a week straight, or every day for a month or two or three – Doesn’t mean you will be finished at the end of all hat. If you are doing this and expect to be rewarded financially and THAT is your ultimate goal, then you will be struggling for a very long time. You’ll struggle because you won’t wanna do the work. Or you’ll do the work for a while, see that it isn’t working (chasing money never will), and give up. You’ll struggle because you’ll be acting from a place of desperation instead of from flow-based and soul-led alignment. You’ll struggle because you’ll allow fears and doubt to creep in and run your life. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Success (financial and otherwise) is really fucking easy. You do the work. The work of listening to your soul and acting accordingly. You do this work, over and over, again and again, forever. You don’t stop because you don’t want to stop. You have a greater passion than just “making money”. You want to help others. You want to be completely free. You want to do life on your terms. You want to talk about all of your favorite things (and get paid for it!). Instead of chasing money, how about chasing PASSION? Do the practical money stuff, yes (sell things you’re excited about, invest in yourself, have savings, set money goals, etc.), but lead with passion. When you...
I Planned To Fail (It Started Out As A Game, And Then This Happened…)

I Planned To Fail (It Started Out As A Game, And Then This Happened…)

MY CONFESSION – It started out as a game. “Let’s see if this actually works”, I say to myself.  This was after discovering the coaching industry and the coaches charging thousands of dollars to work with them.  They were helping their clients with making money online - something that I had years of experience doing for myself and a few friends, but never even THOUGHT to charge people to help them one-on-one.  But if others were doing it –  Clearly they were onto something. Right? So I figured, “what the hell, I’ll give it a shot”. I already knew how to make money online. Like I said, I’d been doing it for years. How hard could it be to simply tell others how to do the same?  Turns out –  Not so hard. IF you can get the clients, that is.  Because here’s something you won’t see on the fancy sales pages, in the emails, and on the professional 3-part video series’ –  The TRUTH that getting clients doesn’t just HAPPEN.  All these coaches make it seem to EASY to wake up to dozens of discovery calls and tens of thousands of dollars in sales every day.  But what they’re not telling you is this –  You HAVE TO put skin in the game. You have to show up and do the work every day. Even when it’s hard. Even when it feels like it’s not working.  And truthfully, many days you’ll ask yourself “what the fuck did I get myself into?”. And so many people quit, which is understandable. Because most people can’t hack it. Most people are...
Hiring A Good Mentor Costs Good Money

Hiring A Good Mentor Costs Good Money

In my first month as a coach, I made $0. In fact, I was in the hole $6K because I’d spent that on my mentor. By the end of the year, I’d received over $250,000. In my very first year in a brand new business, in an industry where I was a complete unknown. This didn’t happen because of luck. It also didn’t happen because I worked my ass off (although I definitely did do that). It happened because I hired someone to show me how to (in her words) shorten the learning curve, so I could make money faster. Working with a coach was exhilarating. Knowing that I had someone to call on when I had a question or needed feedback (which was almost daily back then LOL) felt SO damn good. But hiring her in the first place is the scariest thing I’ve ever done in my business. Hiring a mentor was something I knew I needed to do in order to get fast results and make money quickly (I’m not one to wait around - I want results FAST), but something that really terrified me. The thought of that coaching “not working” was at the top of my mind. I was worried that it wouldn’t work for me. I was worried that no one would pay me. I was worried that I’d have to work 24/7. I was also secretly worried that it was all a big ol’ scam, like my family tried to warn me it was. I’m so fucking thankful that I trusted my gut. That I said YES to hiring a mentor, even...
