One thing I’ve discovered about myself is that I’m pretty resilient. It doesn’t matter how much shit I go through, I always come out the other side a better person, having accomplished WAY more than I ever thought possible.
There isn’t much you can say or do to me that will knock me down and keep me on the ground. I always keep getting back up. I will not back down.
Even though it would be EASIER to give up and quit, that’s just not my nature. I don’t operate in that way.
And really, it’s hard for me to be around people who DO operate that way as it’s depressing. I don’t want to be depressed, I want to be inspired and feel motivated!
This is why I choose to only be around people who make me feel this way. Everyone else can go and be miserable away from me. I’m not interested.
And of course I understand that bad things are going to happen from time to time. I’m not naive in thinking that everything can be perfect all of the time. But I also know that even when I AM put through a storm of shit, I will make cookies from that shit. I WILL prevail! 🙂
Because I have people to help, lives to change, an impact to make. I have goals and dreams to accomplish. I have a big life to live and enjoy. I don’t have time to sit around and be sad, negative or uninspired. I have a job to do and I’m gonna do it!
In other words: Do not underestimate the power of a woman who has a mission to complete.
You can help her fuel the fire, but you can’t start it like she can.
You can help her gather the wood, but you can’t collect it as quickly as she can.
You can help her feed the hungry, but you can’t cook the way that she can.
…. you get the idea. 🙂
A woman on a mission is not one to be fucked with, as you will get very badly burned by the fire she has built and maintained (her confidence and strength). A woman on a mission is the most powerful woman there is.
It should go without saying, but if you are a woman on a mission, you will do WHATEVER it takes to achieve your mission, so long as that mission is what you ACTUALLY want, and not what you think you’re supposed to want.
I hear so many people setting goals like “I want to make $50,000 a month!” - which sounds great and all, but WHY? What’s so special about $50,000 a month? Did you actually calculate what your dream life would cost you? It may not be anywhere even remotely close to $50,000 a month (or it could potentially cost more than that).
Another thing I hear a lot of is “if she can do it, so can I!” - again, this sounds great and all, but WHY the hell do you want to do something just because someone else has done it (other than the fact that you’re human and humans love to compete with one another). Do you actually WANT the things the other person has? (And also let it be known that you have absolutely no idea HOW she may have done it… she may have done something morally wrong, or given up something that you’re not willing to give up…)
I think it’s great to have ambition, I really do. It’s admirable to see someone work their asses off and get what they want. It’s inspiring, even, to see these people experience the things that they want to experience in their lives.
But that doesn’t necessarily mean you should follow in their footsteps.
Have goals
Have dreams
Have MISSIONS to complete
But get ’em done YOUR way. No more comparing yourself to other people.
If you need help, ask for it. If you want support, go and get it. Just don’t act like the world owes you something. The world owes you absolutely nothing. The only person who does is YOU. There is one person in the world that is 100% for YOU, who has your back always, and who wants the best for you. No, not your mom (although maybe her, too). That person is yourself.
No one wants the life you do more than yourself.
And so, recognize that YOU are a powerful force. You have ALL of the abilities necessary to complete the mission of creating and living your dream life. But you’ve gotta work for it. You must be willing to do what’s necessary to have what you want.
Are you?
Become that woman on a mission. Become that warrior that no one can fuck with (not even the negative thoughts in your mind can stop you!).
Because you know what –
It’s all on you.
The good news is that you’ve got everything it takes to make it happen. Time to kick those abilities into high gear and complete your mission. Get ‘er DONE!
