Newsflash: I don’t hire mentors to learn things.
It’s true.
I don’t want to sound egotistical or anything, but I know my shit when it comes to business. I know how to launch and sell an offer. I know how to make money on repeat. I know how to attract badass, aligned clients. I know how to grow my FB following and email list.
I know the things.
I do the things.
I reap the reward of doing the things.
Yet, I still hire and work with private mentors and coaches. In fact, I don’t hire them because I can, I hire them because I simply MUST. It’s a non-negotiable. It doesn’t matter how much money I make or how successful I am, I must ALWAYS work with a mentor.
Not because of what they can teach me, although I for sure learn a thing or two through working with them, but because of how I simply AM when I’m in their energy. Quite simply, being in the energy of someone who is at a higher level than you, or who has accomplished something that you want to accomplish, activates this part of you that lights a fire under your ass to make shit happen.
I could be making $500 a month or $5 million a month, and I would still have a mentor, due to how quickly I’m able to shift to the next level through working with one (as opposed to doing everything myself).
So no. I don’t hire mentors to learn things.
I hire mentors because I want to know how THEY do life.
I hire mentors because I want to be in their circle.
I hire mentors because I want to be in their energy.
I hire mentors because I want to be able to ask them random questions.
I hire mentors because I want to be reminded daily of what’s possible for me.
I hire mentors because I want someone to hold me accountable.
I hire mentors because I want to be inspired in a more intimate way.
I hire mentors because I want to have their eyes and ears on my work/business.
I hire mentors because they changed the fucking game for me.
Whenever I’m not working with a mentor, my income plummets, I feel overwhelmed, and I’m not as creative. Which is why I refuse to work that way!
After spending over $100,000 on mentors and programs, and 3 1/2 years of time, I can say with absolute certainty that one of the biggest reason I’ve been able to grow my business to over $1.5 million dollars in sales in that time, is that I’ve worked with high-level mentors.
I’ve had the support.
I’ve had the inspiration.
I’ve had the energy.
Even when I thought I couldn’t afford a mentor, I “found” the money (thanks Visa!) and made it happen because I knew that working with someone at a level higher than me, would catapult my business - and it ALWAYS did and does.
When you have the private support of someone who has your back, you can’t help but WIN.

Everything feels easy.
There are people out there that will tell you that you don’t need a mentor in order to make money/run a successful business, and they’re right. You don’t. HOWEVER, in that scenario, your money/business grows slower because you have to learn everything on your own. You don’t have someone to go to that can help you shorten your learning curve.
Not only that, but you are stuck in the SAMENESS energy. That being, the energy that got you to where you are.
In order to get to the next level, you need to be consumed in the energy OF that next level. The quickest way to get that? Is through spending time with someone who already has it and is living it.
It’s not just about what you know.
It’s also about what you do.
About who you do it with.
About how you do it.
About how you feel.
About how to respond.
About how you show up.
And most importantly - it’s about who you are.
Do you want to be the kind of person who is fully supported in all areas of life and biz? Do you want to be the kind of person who people pay just to be around? Do you want to be the kind of person who makes money all day, every day, on repeat? Do you want to be the kind of person who’s life is easy, effortless and fun?
That’s the kind of person a mentor can help you become.
You are your best self when you’re surrounded by others that bring out the best in you.
Don’t allow yourself to stay stuck. Don’t allow yourself to keep playing at the same low-bar energy you’ve been playing at.
You KNOW you want more. You know you deserve more. You know that it’s your time for more! So what are you gonna do to get it?
It’s time to take a stand for YOU. For what you really want.
It’s time to give yourself permission to do what it takes to live the life you’ve been dreaming of for so long.
There are no excuses valid here.
There is no more time to waste - time is running out! Time is going by so quickly - stop letting it slip through your fingers. Stop telling yourself that you need to wait, feeding yourself bullshit excuse after bullshit excuse.
You will never get back more time.
Would you rather have the life of your dreams now, or 5 years from now, or even 1 year from now? Why would you WANT to wait even a second longer? I know, you wouldn’t.
You want that dream life, NOW.
You want that freedom, NOW.
You want that abundance, NOW.
You want it all, NOW.
Guess what –
You can HAVE it all now. You don’t have to wait. You don’t have to follow a certain process first, before you’re deemed worthy. You don’t have to do anything except take the action now that will get you to where you want to be. And keep doing that, over and over, until, the next thing you know - that dream life you’ve always wanted?
