Can you honestly say that you LOVE what you do?
Do you really believe that you’re doing the work you were born to do?
Deep down, do you feel like you are living your ideal life?
I hope you answered YES to at least one of those questions. And if you didn’t, I hope you are on the path of getting to YES. Because nothing is more important than finding what you love, doing that, turning it into a lifestyle where you get paid to be you.
It has to mean something.
If you’re gonna take action, what does that action MEAN? How does it make you feel? What is the underlying purpose of the action? And of course, why is taking it so important to you?
Everything you do in life means something. Every action you take serves a purpose.
You may exercise because it makes you leaner and healthier.
You may take the trash out because then your house won’t smell.
You may write about sex because it makes your heart sing to do so.
You may work privately with your clients because you know you’re helping them change their lives.
You may eat vegetables, because you know they’ll make you “big and strong”, as Mom used to say.
The action you take has a purpose that means something to you.
What is it for your business? What is that meaning? That purpose? Where does the DRIVE come from? Find it, hold on to it, remember it. Because that’s the only thing that will get you through the ups and downs of this crazy entrepreneurial world that you’re in.
It has to be interesting.
To you. To them. To everyone.
If you’re telling a boring, depressing story, eventually people are gonna stop listening. Share your lessons, share your desires, share your thoughts, share your beliefs. Share the whole story in a way that has people on the edge of their seats.
We want to be entertained. Entertain us!
We want to be inspired. Inspire us!
Show us why we should pay attention. Why we should care. Why we should listen. Make us CRAVE you and your words.
It has to keep you up at night and wake you up in the morning.
It consumes your every thought. It’s ALWAYS present in your mind.
You can’t NOT think about it. In fact, the more you try to distract yourself by doing or thinking about something else, the more forceful it is at placing itself right in front of you.
It MUST be this way. It MUST consume you. You must be absolutely, 100% OBSESSED.
It has to have a pull over you.
Because when it does? When it has this kind of POWER?
THAT means it’s the one. It’s the one thing you need to focus on. It’s the one thing you need to always be improving. It’s the one story you need to be sharing. It’s the one life you need to be living.
It has to bring you immense joy.
It must light you up. It must make you “act crazy” in the minds of others.
It must have you feeling so HIGH on life that you don’t ever wanna come down.
When you love what you do so much that it’s all you EVER want to do, that’s when you know you’ve found your calling. That’s when you know you’ve got a path laid out in front of you and all you need to do is show up and follow it.
That means it must bring you immesurable JOY in every way possible. You feel like you’re floating on air. You’re IN LOVE.

And if this happens? All of this?
You just fucking do it. Every day. Without fail.
To you, doing this work, the work you show up and do every day –
Is as normal as drawing breath.
To you, to stop is to die.
To you, it’s a MUST.
All day, every day, for the rest of your life on Earth.
You don’t take a break from it.
You don’t take a break from life!
This is your LEGACY. This is the mark you will leave. This is the change you will have.
So no, you won’t stop.
No, you won’t quit.
No, you won’t “knock it off”.
You will, however, show up every day and simply DO IT.
All of it. Whatever you MUST do to keep on breathing, to keep on having a PURPOSE, to keep on living.
