What I did this week and how it changed the game for me & my biz

Earlier this week, I spent 3 days in an AirBnb in downtown Toronto.

I flew in my social media manager/assistant/twin badass Crystal, to spend those days with me, gettin’ shit done.

And get shit done, we did.

In addition to taking pictures and behind-the-scenes Insta Stories the whole time, eating unlimited amounts of vegan food, and sitting on our balcony, staring at the incredible view of the city, we also:

>> Shut down my Facebook group of over 6,600 people and started a new one (you can join here, it’s free).

>> Re-launched UPGRADED, my most popular 1:1 coaching program EVER (we start soon; message me for deets).

>> Mapped out our re-launch for The Relentless Entrepreneur (round 3 - I love this program so much!). Doors open Nov. 1st!

>> Re-vamped our Instagram strategy, and ended up with HUNDREDS of new followers and way more engagement in just a few days (with NO BOTS, I should add!).

In between all of this, I also:

- Created content for current on-going programs.
- Wrote and wrote and wrote some more.
- Had messenger conversations about UPGRADED once it was officially launched.
- Journaled… a lot.
- Made a menu plan and ordered groceries for the rest of the week.
- Decided on a new Facebook ads strategy and started getting all of that in place.
- Did my daily money work. (Of course!)

When I got home after taking Crystal to the airport, I crashed on the couch for a solid 2 hours.

I was SO tired, but in the best way possible.

The truth is, I LOVE being busy. I love doing the inner work, I love the planning, I love the strategizing.

This is a big reason my clients come to me: I don’t just teach strategy, and I don’t just teach mindset.

I teach both, because they’re both important and they both go hand in hand. It would be insane to think you can do just one or the other and be successful.

The hustle, the bustle, the go go go go go - it’s what I love. It’s what I NEED. I actually can’t stand sitting around doing nothing. I hate being bored!

Not to say that I don’t enjoy the odd day where I just sit around and binge watch Netflix, and eat rice bowls & brownies, because I most definitely do –

But mostly?

Mostly I love to do the work.

I love to cross things off my list.
I love to see things being accomplished.
I love to feel productive.

And so, every day, I sit my ass down and I DO. THE. WORK.

Not because I have to, but because I want to.

It’s the work that fuels me, it’s the work that gets me up at the ass-crack of dawn each morning..

It’s the knowing that I get to create and just be ME and get paid for all of that, knowing that yeah, I’ll do the work, but also that I’m gonna love it when I do..

And it’s the truth.

I FREAKIN’ LOVE THE WORK. I love the hustle. I love the push.

The beginning of a new month is my favorite, because I ask myself “what do I get to do/create/call-in this month?” - and then I excitedly go and do it.

If you’re here, you probably feel the same. The hustle is your best friend and nope, you ain’t afraid of it.

You know the truth about the hustle - about what it actually IS: which is you, living your life, documenting it, and sharing it with the world.

The hustle is you waking up every morning, excited to share your world with those who are willing to listen.

The hustle is speaking your mind, sharing what’s on your heart, and being an open book.

The hustle is remembering to turn the livestream on when you’re “doing all of the things” (like Crystal and I did while we were on the balcony, brainstorming the tagline for the new Facebook group!).

The hustle is selling (every day) what you believe in and are passionate about.

The hustle is LIFE. Your life.

And it gets to look however you want it to look.

There is so “right” way to do anything, except the way that feels best for you, the way that is easiest for you, which, is in alignment with who you are and how you live.

So the next time you worry about whether or not you’re “doing it right” and if “it’s working”, the answer is YES and YES.

Because what you believe is what you receive.

So if you believe that things aren’t working, they won’t.

If you believe that it’s “taking too long” to get what you want, it will continue to take a long time.

If you believe that it’s HARD to make what you want, a reality, then yep, it’s gonna be hard!

So…

Why not just flip that shit around?

Why not believe that things ARE working.. that things ALWAYS work out for you?

Why not believe that you always get what you want, or better, at the perfect time?

Why not believe that it’s REALLY fucking easy to make your dreams a reality?

One way feels good.

One way doesn’t.

And good news - you get to choose which path you’d like to take. I recommend the one that feels good.. but it’s up to you, of course.

This week has been a whirlwind.

I laughed.
I cried.
I was frustrated.
I was tired.
I felt elated.
I felt abundant.
I got stuck in an elevator and thought I was gonna die.
I was treated like a VIP everywhere I went, and felt like a BOSS.

Life is what you make it.

If you decide to sit around WAITING for things to happen, you’ll be waiting forever.

You’ve gotta get out there, take action, do the work, believe in your-freakin’-self and watch the magic unfold.

Because that’s always when it does.

I love you.
